Donald B George CA - Director
Donald qualified as a chartered accountant in the late 60’s and, after a short spell in industry, he started in private practice and has worked in Great King Street ever since.
Over the last 30+ years, Donald has worked with businesses in almost every sector, from large manufacturing plants to small tradesmen, and with most professions. He likes to think he brings a sense of humour to an otherwise dry profession, and puts great emphasis on the personal touch.
Linda L Leaworthy LLB, CTA - Director
Linda graduated from Edinburgh University in 1983 with a degree in Scots Law, and joined HM Revenue & Customs.
She moved into private practice in 1987, working with Donald, Lesley and Kathrine in our predecessor firm. Linda qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1990.
Lesley H Stewart - Company Secretary
Lesley started her career in 1982 when she joined HM Revenue & Customs. By the late 1980’s she had moved into private practice and worked with several big six firms in the Midlands. Returning to Edinburgh after having her family she joined forces with Donald and Linda in 1991 and has worked with them ever since.
Kathrine M Hardy BCom (Hons)
Kathrine graduated from Edinburgh University in 1979 with a BCom honours in Business Studies & Accounting. She trained with a four partner firm in Edinburgh. After having a break to have a family she joined our predecessor firm in 1987. She has over 25 years experience in accounting.
